MARIA is a proud Greek wife to Dimitri and mother to two boys; Theodore and Christos. Her life’s greatest passions are family and the personalised stefana (Greek wedding crowns) that she lovingly hand makes.

STORY OF STEFANIA began in 2013, as I wanted to add something personalised to the Greek wedding ceremony. The idea came to me that the stefana joining ribbon could be personalised with the bride and groom names and wedding date. It’s something that I had never seen before and I wanted for my own wedding.

Each stefana is made to order and I pour my heart and soul into each creation. My collection of stefana are made from high-quality materials; Swarovski pearls, Swarovski crystals, and floral berries. They can be designed to complement rustic weddings, glam weddings, and weddings with on-trend colours. Story of Stefania crowns have appealed greatly to Greek couples as they are modern, yet still traditional and compliment each couple’s wedding style. Weddings today are truly a representation of a couple and I believe that the stefana should also represent that couple’s style, especially as they are a keepsake from the wedding ceremony that will last a lifetime.
